Dancers need to be flexible. They need to stretch and to lengthen. They need to build strong cores. ...and they can do all that with one class: YOGA!
There are so many benefits to yoga. Obviously yoga increases strength and flexibility, but it also helps posture, promotes joint and bone health, protects the spine, increases blood flow, boosts immunity, ups the heart rate, decreases blood pressure, improves balance, regulates various internal systems, eases pain, and to top it all off, it's just plain relaxing!
You don't need to have any prior yoga experience in order to join our class! You don't need to be able to touch Your toes, nor do You need to remember what Your toes look like! Our yoga class is designed for all levels and covers a broad range of what the yoga spectrum has to offer!
So what do You need to bring to yoga class? All You really need to bring is You! You're welcome to bring Your own mat, but You can also use ours if You like. Some students may also want bring water and a towel. In short, bring whatever makes You comfortable, because yoga class is all about YOU!
